My First Tabling Event

My First Tabling Event

Just about a year ago, I had the opportunity to table alongside another vendor that I'm also a part of. I thought I should use this just to see how it's like to table and if it's something I enjoy doing and can continue to do in the future.

I brought several waterproof vinyl sticker designs I have, five sticker sheet designs, and even had my junk journal on display using my stickers.

I also included some of my mom's crochet creations. She loves to crochet keychains, stuffed animals, and any project she can get her hands on. I've had her make decorations for our home, a pen pouch for my pens, and blankets for my couch. She's made so many items, but she has no place to put them all and no knowledge on where/how she can sell them. So I wanted to sell some of her items to help fund her yarn supply!

I've been to so many SJMade events as a customer and I've been looking at everyone's table setups. I decided on something simple and a little makeshift. I bought a pegboard from IKEA and bought some nail polish holders and a legs to attach to the pegboard. I also ordered a wooden stand forI made my own signage and ordered a table cloth with my logo and set everything up! For a first time, I was happy with how the layout turned out.

Final thoughts - Though it's tiring to stand there for hours, I enjoyed the event. It's super rewarding to see people interested in your art (: I sold a total of 13 of my mom's keychains/stuffed animals, 12 stickers, 9 sticker sheets! I call that a win since I was actually primarily tabling for the other vendor!! I tabled one more time after this, but I'll write about that another time.
